Blogging has become one of the fastest growing phenomena on the internet today. If you are a blogger like I am, you have found blogs to be fun, exciting and very interesting. Blogging is the best way to get your thoughts out to the world, and an even better way to attract people who have similar interests as you do. However, as a fellow blogger yourself, I’m sure you have been wondering to get more hits to your blog. I have been plagued with the same problem for years until recently where I have discovered some great methods attracting new readers everyday.
When it comes to home pages, most websites can be divided into two: static and non-static. As their name implies, static home pages stay permanent no matter how many times the website is updated, while non-static home pages reflect the changes that are made to the site and show the latest posts first. A long time ago when blogs were rare, just having one made you stand out. Not so today. There are millions of blogs. Things have changed. Now, in order to stand out, you have to join with others and get involved in the community. Love this list. Especially the part where you mention it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Your tricks are very interesting. I think that one of the key factors of success in blogging is being able to keep motivation and discipline. I took you step on blogging 10 post drafts & that helps me out alot during my busy weeks. I pick what I want to post & no worries all week about having to blog. If you take 1 day to post 10 drafts each week it saves you alot of time & stress. You want to choose your primary keyword and put that as close to the front of the title of your post as possible. You also want to include it in your introduction and closing paragraph and make the keyword font bold if possible. This was so good. I need to work on consistently writing even if I am not posting that day. I tend to have a write only when I’m writing a post mentality and that doesn’t allow me any room to really just write for the sake of gaining confidence in my style.
Rollover image is a design feature where an image changes when your mouse hovers over it. Think of a light bulb that turns on and off when you move your mouse cursor into that area of a page. When a page is loading, rollover images are preloaded into it to ensure that the rollover effect is displayed quickly. Read the comments and moderate them, make sure that you remove spam. Also, reply to people that are interested in what you write. This will help create and nurture a community around your content, which can be very interesting to do!
