The two solid types of heat pumps are the compression heat pumps, which can operate with the use of the mechanical energy and can be driven with the use of electricity; and the absorption heat pumps, which can be fueled through the use of burnable fuels, like LP gas or natural gas.
A boiler is an equipment designed as a closed vessel where the water or any other fluid is being heated, however, the fluid inside does not literally boil.
